It begins with the author's journey, inspired by caring for her boyfriend and her involvement with "Hand Angels," a volunteer program supporting the sexual rights of disabled individuals. 

Her story includes a transformative trip to the Netherlands to learn about support systems for disabled sexuality, as well as her work with advocates and disabled partners in Taiwan and Hong Kong. Key chapters highlight initiatives such as sexual volunteering, interdependent living, and inclusive dance—demonstrating how relationships and community support foster empowerment and understanding.

Through personal stories, the book features friendships with individuals with cerebral palsy, prosthetic dancers, and blind artists, emphasising wisdom, resilience, and love. The concluding reflection underscores how these experiences have reshaped perceptions of disability and intimacy, highlighting the importance of compassion, connection, and collective empowerment in redefining sexuality and care.
